Meet Rachel Egberts - Criminal Law, Wills & Estates, Powers of Attorney and Civil Litigation
Rachel obtained her Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology (Honours) with a minor in History in 2016 from the University of Ottawa. It was during this time that Rachel gained an interest in the practice of law.
Rachel eventually returned to the University of Ottawa where she completed and received her Juris Doctor. During her studies, she competed in two different Moot competitions, including the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot.
Community Involvement
Rachel became aware of the unique issues facing Indigenous peoples after spending time in an Indigenous community.
She had the privilege of helping plan and run kids clubs and other activities for children, youth, and women in two different Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario.
She also took the opportunity to further explore and learn more about Indigenous culture and issues facing indigenous people in her formal education.

When Rachel is not working, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, a good book, and spending time with family and friends.
