Ian completed the Canadian and American Dual Juris Doctor Program offered at Michigan State University College of Law and University of Ottawa. At Michigan State, Ian was on the Dean’s List and earned Jurisprudence Achievement Awards in International Business Transactions and NAFTA for finishing at the top of his class. Ian articled at a well-respected litigation firm in downtown Toronto.
Community Involvement
Ian grew up in Oshawa where he attended Dr. S.J. Phillips and O’Neill C.V.I. Ian has helped coach both soccer and basketball for Connaught Park and Dr. S. J. Phillips, respectively. He has also volunteered with the Durham District School Board in organizing elementary school soccer. Outside of work, Ian enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time with friends and family. Ian sits on the Board of Directors for the Durham Region Law Association.
